Provide a professional and welcoming reception and telephone service to all patients and visitors of the Radiology department.
Manage the full patient pathway by processing medical imaging referrals, scheduling appointments and managing clinic changes in line with clinical instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
Utilise the Patient Administration System, ICE and e-referral systems for accurate data recording, tracing case notes and maintaining data quality standards.
Liaise extensively with clinicians, GP surgeries, medical records teams and other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient flow and accurate information transfer.
Monitor and proactively manage Patient Tracking Lists and waiting lists to ensure strict adherence to national and local waiting time targets (Referral to Treatment and Cancer pathways).
